AWAKE is meant to be encountered in real life as well as online. Rhode Island Node 01 is the first place envisioned for that encounter: thoughtful enough for serious questions and welcoming enough for people who are not sure where they belong.
More than one kind of room
A living inquiry needs spaces that support different ways of being together. That includes room for quiet reflection, study, small conversations, community learning, creative work, and public moments when people need to gather around a shared question.
Gather
Invite neighbors, seekers, and friends into conversations that make room for complexity.
Learn
Make research and context approachable without shrinking hard questions.
Reflect
Protect space for silence, grief, hope, and personal meaning.
Contribute
Give people a practical way to shape a living record of the inquiry.
A Rhode Island beginning
Node 01 marks a local beginning, not a claim to own a global conversation. AWAKE’s purpose is to create a place where a broad human question can be approached with care, accountability, and genuine participation—and where what is learned can remain available to others.
Help establish the first node
People who want to follow the project closely, volunteer their time, share expertise, or support the first chapter can connect through the Founding Followers page. The invitation is not to become a spectator. It is to bring a piece of the work that only you can bring.
